Moderation Guidelines
Scope & Definition
These Moderation Guidelines apply to all store, product, and account reports processed on Parcel or Packables, and are hereby incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
Sold without the original creators consent (Copyright)
Parcel is committed to protecting intellectual property rights and ensuring that products sold on our platform are distributed only with proper authorization.
A product is considered to be in violation of copyright if:
It is uploaded or sold by someone who does not hold the appropriate rights or permission from the original creator.
It uses protected assets (scripts, models, UI, etc.) without valid licensing.
If you are the copyright holder or are authorized to act on their behalf, you may submit a DMCA report file or link, if applicable, as part of your claim. Please ensure the report clearly states that it is a DMCA submission. Once received, our team may contact you via email for further verification.
If a formal DMCA report is not available, the copyright holder, or a third party, may still report the item by submitting clear and verifiable evidence of ownership or authorization.
All copyright reports must include sufficient proof of ownership or authorization. We reserve the right to deny action on incomplete or unverifiable reports.
No product file or not as advertised
All products listed on Parcel must be complete, accessible, and accurately described. Listings that are missing files or that misrepresent the product's features or content are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal of the product.
It is significantly different, or
It lacks the advertised functionality and quality, or
It is incomplete without clear disclosure from the listing's description or media.
Repeated violations may result in store suspension, depending on the severity and frequency of the offenses, and subject to the moderation team’s discretion.
Product contains malware
Parcel has zero tolerance for malicious content on our platform. Any verified report of a product containing malware, viruses, backdoors, or other harmful code will result in immediate removal of the offending product.
If malware is identified in a product, all other products listed by the store are subject to review by the moderation team. If additional malicious content is found, the store will be permanently suspended.
Obfuscated scripts are not automatically considered harmful unless reasonable suspicion exists that such scripts conceal malware or malicious behavior.
Other reason specified
In addition to predefined report categories, we reserve the right to review and take action on other content reported if there is credible evidence or strong indication that the content was created or distributed with harmful intent, bad faith, or to deliberately mislead, exploit, or harm other users.
This includes but is not limited to cases of harassment, manipulation, or abuse of platform mechanisms, or any activity that violates Parcel's Terms of Service or principles of ethical use.
We aim to uphold a fair and safe environment and may exercise discretion when such intent is apparent, even if not explicitly covered by existing report categories.
Re-uploading Removed Products
Re-uploading products that were previously removed for violating our policies is strictly prohibited. Users who do so may have their store suspended.
Report Review Protocol
Parcel handles product reports using a second-approver system. All reports must be reviewed independently by two content moderators.
The first (primary) moderator assesses the report and documents their findings. A second moderator then reviews the report to verify that the primary assessment is factual, justified, and objective.
A final decision is made based on the combined evaluation of both moderators. This dual-review process ensures all reports are handled with fairness, consistency, and impartiality.
Moderator Access
Parcel moderators have access to product files through a secure, spoof-proof system that requires multiple compliance checks before access is granted. This system ensures that only authorized staff can view product contents when investigating reports.
All product downloads and moderator accesses are fully audited. Parcel can trace when, where, and which product was downloaded, ensuring full accountability and traceability across our platform.
Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was made in error, you may submit an appeal through the link provided in the report email sent by Parcel with relevant evidence or context to support your claim. All decisions are final unless new and compelling information is provided.
